Weather Or Not

Clouds From Both Sides are in the Weather Or Not exhibition at the MU art space in Eindhoven, Netherlands from May 26th, 2016.

While a satellite passes over our location and captures images of the atmosphere, we take photographs looking up, towards the satellite. We record an observation of the clouds from the perspective of a human experience as ‘ground truth.’ The observation takes the form of a conversation that attempts to capture the moment in description and discuss the complexities of modes of knowledge production beyond binaries of inside/outside, subjective/objective, top-down/bottom-up. The double viewing grounds the climate hyperobject to the earth, while stretching our embodied capacity beyond where it droops off. The participants in the project include writers, climate scientists, artists, weathermen and many others.
